B&W 804D2 vs 702S2

Wanted to see if anyone had direct experience comparing the two speakers? Im considering either a used set of 804D2 or a new set of 702S2, so wanted to get feedback between the two. I have owned previous b&w speakers, and have used Classe and Anthem equipment in various forms with success, so would be using them again.

This might get a bit more traction in the B&W owners thread (although not as active as it use to be). I owned a pair of 804D2s for a time and have auditioned the 702s2s. Would this be for a music (2-channel) or combined system?

2-channel: PSB Imagine T, Music Fidelity M2si, SVS SB-1000, Rega RP1, Pro-Ject Phono Box, Marantz ND8006
Living Room: Deftech Demand D9, Deftech CS9040, B&W ASW610, Yamaha Aventage RX-A2030
Desktop: KEF LS50, Nuforce DDA-120, MacBook Air
BR: MA Silver 2 (5th Gen), B&W ASW608, NAD 326BEE, Zen Blue, Marantz CD5004

This would be for mixed use, both music and home theater

I have heard both the 702 and the 804D3 side by side. The new 702s come pretty close to the 804s at half the price. If you are thinking of mixed, the 702 hands down imho.

I think it would be smart to shop around in the $2500 price range for other brands as well. There's a lot of good stuff out there these days.

System 1: Samsung Plasma | Denon X4500H | Hypex Ncore NC252MP | Buchardt S400 | Polk LSiM 702 F/X | Heights TBD | Subs TBD Rythmik
System 2: Laptop | NAD T758 v3 | PSB Imagine B
System 3: PC | Micca OriGen G2 | Mackie MR624
