Thanks Garman, I know it is not the manliest vehicle in the world, but I am extremely happy with it. It is a 2.1 litre twin turbo Diesel, the fuel economy is outstanding, tHe stereo is Harmon Kardon, not too shabby sounding really, 6 disc CD/DVD changer, Nav, cameras all around, power tailgate, moon roofs, this thing is entry level Mercedes, but has more options than I have ever had in a North American made vehicle. 200 HP/369 FT lbs of torque is surprisingly quick, given its small size.[/QUOTE]
I looked at one of those before I bought my Subaru, but it had too many miles on it for me to use it for Company car, we use a company called Motus that manages and pays for our cars, the cool thing is I own it, they just reimburse me, but they have stipulations on how old and how many miles can be on it, so people don't use the system for making money.
The BMW X3 is a project car for me/kid and so far it's turning out nicely as with most vehicle that are used, you just never know how well their were cared for. (Thankfully this one was). I just put a touch screen in that matches the new X series computers, simple install with one problem. The AUX input on the X3 and many older BMW's needs to be programmed, in order for the unit to feed audio from computer to car. LOL Lucky I found a computer tech college student that BMW recommended, that will do it for $40 bucks, unlike the dealership that will charge $167 dollars an hour... LOL
The cool thing is the touch screen works amazingly fast.. HT/Audio and Stereo, zero issues, but when it comes to car audio, I am in the weeds on this! LOL I have no issues installing Dynaudio speakers and Amps in cars..
Dynaudio Confidence C2 Platinums (Mocca), Dynaudio Contour 20's (Grey Oak) KEF LS50 (Black), Magnepan 1.7i, Belles VT-01/MB-200s, NAD M10, Hegel, Musical Fidelity and various other good brands.. HT system: Dynaudio SCX Center, Dynaudio In-Walls for Surrounds and Sony VPL-295ES possibly a new Monitor in the future.
