GT3 is the best of all worlds in my book but can be excruciatingly expensive to track regularly.
The only people that are afraid to drive their exotics are the people who couldn't afford them in the first place. People do drive their cars.

The main thing that sucks about Corvettes, Camaros, and also the Mustang, is you can basically buy a baseline version of the car for 1/3 of what the top model sells for. Therefore, you think you are something special sitting at a light in your ZR1, until some young guy who is a manager at Mcdonalds pulls up next to you in a 95% identical looking car minus the power. Cars aren't all about go fast. There is a reason that we make cars unique to ourselves with upgrades and add ons. We all want to be different and have something unique. That is why exotics will always have the allure simply for being something most people don't own. Look what Ford did with the GT. You don't see a baseline GT in showrooms for $50k right?

BUT....if you JUST want to go fast for cheap, American muscle is clearly the path. Just remember that when no one pays attention to your car driving down the street, it's because they already saw 30 other ones that day.

I prefer not to be noticed, which is why is one reason i dont drive my exige much. Its not expensive but does attract attention.

A ferrari or pre audi lambo with 30k miles is considered high miles. Most of them go to cars and coffee not track days. Lines of miatas, corvettes, porsches etc are at driving events.

To each his own but i wouldn't regularly drive an aventador if it was all expenses paid

There is an older dude around here that daily drives his Aventador SV. I saw him putting his groceries in the tiny little "trunk" ....hilarious.

This has to be the lamest rebuttal ever. Vette has always been about pure performance at a cost reachable by many. If you can afford it you can step up to the next version. Vette will spank most Porsche until you reach up into the mega cost turbo, GT3 etc.

And duh, if one can afford a Ferrari one will probably buy a Ferrari if that is what you are after.

Your damn right a Vette at $80k is tops for many. In the Bay Area where the median home price is right under s1m, yeah the median cost, for many getting a home and still being able to own a rocket like a Vette is a dream.

I’ve owned two. Lowering springs, exhaust, and shifter and you have a frigging rocket and more than that an awesome daily driver that takes the twisties about as good as anything. Top off just beautiful.

The usual bitching from the Porsche guy is the interior. I get it but they really improved things the last gen.

If you think Vette is no better than the Mickey D manager car in looks, firstly don’t know what that means, but I’d say your snob level is too high.

I think this gen, they will have a super $175k version. Why not and spank anything out there. I think they were waiting for this mid engine to come to life now they can redo the entire perception. Entry level to world class for a price.

One hour to go. Tick tock.

30 minutes.

You got to be ****ing kidding right? That was the most bad ass mother frigging car I’ve seen from the USA. What are you smoking from other Countries? That piece of **** Supra coming. That is a modern Super ****ing Car.

Jesus Christ. That car is beautiful. 0 to 60 in under 3 seconds entry level? Ultra lightweight materials. I gonna go get a Mikey D Mgt job. Got to have one.

It makes 911 look like an antique.

Carry on.. **** I want it white. Black Rims. Black interior.

Awesome show, the stream. Hope others watched it.

Go USA. Wait for all wheel drive twin turbo.

Hello stupid remark. Should have watched the video. Both front and rear storage. The rear holds two sets of clubs plus luggage. They showed it in video.

I’m not a golfer and that demand from other owners annoys me. But it holds two sets buckaroo. Plus four pieces of luggage. The compartment is the lightest of any car in the world per Chevrolet. It would float in water.

Did I say storage front and rear? Maybe Dynaudio monitors in box can squeeze in? With stands.

Difficult to say..is a Dave 2 times better than a Hugo TT?

So far in my experience dynaudio pricing is relative good corresponding to their range ladder.
And in this case i would say 3k S40, 4,5k for a contour 20 than 9,5k for cf20 mirrors the levels quite alright.

Has anyone here purchased the new Evoke 20? Any thoughts or small reviews on this new speaker? Is it worth the $500 price hike over the Evoke 10 for a medium sized room?

Do it all or don't do it at all.

No idea what your room size is or your music tastes are. I like to rock out and am in the giant speakers of america fanclub. In experience a small monitor with 5" monitor can't quite get you there all the time but a medium/largish monitor with 7" drivers mostly can. Change my vote back to evoke 10 if you have subs or will get them

I haven't heard the 10's, I have heard the 20's they are like an unrefined, teenage S40... Basically they are ready to party at any time and I do plan on grabbing a set...

I just looked up the specs for the Evoke 10’s...84 DB’s, WHAT! Man, I guess I will not be driving a pair of those off my TT2 directly. I will try my excite 12’s, but I am not expecting much volume with 18 Watts. It is a shame that Dyn does not make a high efficiency speaker...single driver. Looks like I may have to either go with something like these

http://www.finaleaudio.com/the-new-vivace-mini

Or these

https://omegaloudspeakers.com/produc...alnico-monitor

Otherwise, I will use my Anthem for now to drive the excite 12’s, and possibly grab a pair of the Shiit Vidars to hook directly to the TT2.

A set of the 10’s or 20’s? Do you think the $500 price premium is worth it if one were to go with the Evoke 20’s?

What finish is everyone getting (to those of whom are planning on buying the new Evoke line) ?

As a side note: I rather particularly like the low sensitivity of Dynaudio speakers. It gives me more control and a buffer zone so I don’t accidentally wake my neighbors in my apartment complex...

Do it all or don't do it at all.

BMWs make excellent track cars, at least my E46 M3 certainly did. They are forgiving, fast, handle great and not terribly expensive in comparison to Porsches.

Id rather be out at HPDE with a car that is easy/cheapish to fix than polishing my Italian exotic in the garage because I'm afraid to put miles on it.

GT3 is the best of all worlds in my book but can be excruciatingly expensive to track regularly.
The 2020 will have the LT2 which is still a pushrod V8...

What finish is everyone getting (to those of whom are planning on buying the new Evoke line) ?

As a side note: I rather particularly like the low sensitivity of Dynaudio speakers. It gives me more control and a buffer zone so I don’t accidentally wake my neighbors in my apartment complex...
20's and yes, I'll probably just get black since those will go with pretty much anything...

I love my Piano Black speakers. They fit in so nicely with everything, especially all my black Naim.

Clearaudio Ovation/Universal Dynavector XV-1s Herron Audio VTPH-2a
Naim Audio NDX2/XPS-DR/NAC-282/SuperCap-DR/NAP-250DR/Fraim
