You have the right attitude. What we can do is climb the mountain conquer it and plant the flag. You won be proud.

Also a report on the JL Audio D-110. This is a fantastic sub for music. The bass lines are tight and tuneful. Also the notes from the piano has much more depth. The overall sound has kicked up several notches. My dealer just picked up JL Audio about a month ago. His competition about 20 minutes away lost the account as they haven't sold a JL Sub in years. The owner of JL Audio called John at AV/Therapy and told him that in one month he sold more subs than the other dealer did inn5 years.

With my 6T’s arriving next week I’m having a hard time deciding on an amp setup. We are torn between the following:

1. Parasound Hint 6 integrated
2. Parasound Separates P6 and either a A21+ or A23+ (Don’t know if I need as much as the A21+ has)
3. Anthem STR integrated (highly recommended from our dealer)
4. Rotel RA-1592 Integrated
5. Rotel RB-1592 MKII and RC-1590 Preamp

I think we’ve narrowed it down to the above choices but curious if you all had any other opinions on the above gear or anything else.

Thanks in advance

The Anthem STR of your above choices I have heard. Haven't heard any of the Rotel stuff. The Parasound P5 I have heard and am disappointed in it. I don't know what changes they made to the p6 besides the volume control. And they needed that change because my buddy's p5 had the scratchy volume knob sound. Also I heard a scratchy crossover knob sound last night. And it is kept in a new very clean home.

Oh also the 6t will handle all that a21 will put out and more I would presume. It handles about all of my amp and I am thinking I am pushing at least 300wpc at 8 ohms with only two channels driven. So clean sounding. You just want to keep turning it up.

Before I pulled the trigger on my amps I emailed Michael and he gave me a big thumbs up on my choice. Maybe you could contact him.

Are you able to demo the amps with the 6ts at your dealer?

Definitely the Anthem. A fellow customer that I know went with the Anthem w/his Aerial 6's. Sold his Classe Integrated. Also he enjoyed the DAC in the Anthem so much he sold his Chord DAC too. I own Luxman gear and can attest that its excellent w/Aerial speakers.

I have the 7T's and have had the MF's for a few years which were a replacement for a Mcintosh MC 252. The Mc did well but I felt the highs were slightly rolled off and the bass was a bit limited. The MF's fixed those issues. The MF's are being fed by a Balanced Audio Technology VK-33 tube preamp. The combination of Preamp/Amp/speakers sounds really good IMO.

Greg, it sounded OK when I heard your system, but c'mon......you'd need to spend at least $50K on a pair of speakers to get to the "really good" stuff!

I envy a lot of you here with amazing Aerial set-ups. It is so fun to read, and learn, and see how there are so many variances from system to system. One day I will be in a place where I can do the same and be able to experience the bliss you are all having.

Even my modest set-up of Aerial 7B/CC3B combo is incredibly impressive to me even being driven off of a Denon 6500 receiver. I can’t wait to keep making my set up better and better.

A number of us Aerial luvers who post here at this thread and also at Steve Hoffman Forum thread (https://forums.stevehoffman.tv/threa...651745/page-20) reported misleading Aerial buy and sell ads by disgruntled ex-Aerial dealer Craig Shumer (Theatermax) to Audiogon and this apparently resulted in Audiogon pulling the ads, as they are gone (the ads still had some days to run). Although Shumer continues to list Aerial as a brand he carries on his website (https://theatermax.com/brands/) which continues to be false and misleading. In the above posts in this thread (and over at the Steve Hoffman Forum thread), two different persons contacted Shumer interested in buying used Aerial speakers only to be told by Shumer that the speakers were not accessible at some warehouse or something like that with Shumer trying to sell them another brand of speakers and badmouthing Aerial speakers; and one person a few years ago (after Shumer lost his Aerial dealership) says he called Shumer to buy Aerials but instead was talked into buying a different speaker brand, but that recently after hearing Aerials at a friends he bought a pair of 6ts from someone else and loves them much better than the speakers he had bought from Shumer.

Look what I found, albums by a group called "Aerial Acoustics"! Dorothy Wagner and Dennis Smith!

https://www.aerialweb.com/home.html

She's even better lookin' than the fantastic looking and sounding Aerial speakers, especially the 7ts and the upcoming 30Ts!

And they just last month performed at The White House!

Look what I just ran across from Greg - I actually ran across it like 4 years ago and it just resurfaced:
