OK. I have 8 Bass Shakers (4ohms each), that I need to hook up to a second receiver that I have. I also want to hook up a passive sub that I have that has 2 8ohm woofers in it (each with their own terminals to hook up the wires). How can this be done so that I get the right ohms? The receiver is an older Pioneer Pro-Logic receiver.

Thanks.

For all the bass shakers to have one load of 8 ohms...

You need to hook up 4 of them in seies and the same for the other 4. Then hook both groups of four in paraell. That will make your eight 4 ohm speakers look like one speaker with 8 ohms at 2oo watts.

4 + 4 + 4 + 4 = 16 ohms (series)

16 ohms / 2 = 8 ohms (paraell)

Not sure what to do with your other speaker.
