I checked w/ TAI, and they did have a single 6.1 in faux cherry. I need a rosewood version to match my set.

From another manufacturer? None really, but perhaps the B&W 804.

I have to apologize as it was pretty late when I asked this question as I meant which other speaker(s) sounds close to the Diva series towers of swans. I ask as I am in the shopping for a pair that will be totally dedicated for music listening. I have a pair of infinity primus 360 right now and would want to be considerably wowed with a new pair. I read about the owner's very good experience with the swans for their home theater set up but very few with regards to a 2 channel listening. Wonder how swan fares against the salks?

Or do you mean they look and sound like the B&W 804s?

Yes look and sound comparable to the 804.

In regards to your question on 2 channel listening, I have a pair of Swan F2.2+ and I can tell you the reproduction is of very high level, comparable with multiple high end (read $$$) models. Balanced, articulate, focused and so dynamic, particularly when driven by XPA-1 mono blocks in my case.

Anyone comment on the 6.3s Im getting closer and closer to a purchase of some Swans. most likely the 6.1s however i noticed on the HiFi site they show 6.3s which IIRC weren't there a few months ago when i last looked at their site. googleing didn't really help me

here is the page, there is no overview but the specs are up there. Hoping John can shed some light on these

TheAudioInsider doesn't list swan diva 6.1 in their products line up anymore. Does that mean they're not gonna carry it anymore?

can someone tell me the difference between the swan diva c3 the center channel speaker with the external tweeter vs non external tweeter, is one older than the other and which would go better with the 6.1's

With that awesome set of speakers, I mean really AWESOME!!! ... don't you think you need a PROJECTOR with at least 90 inch screen so it would be PERFECTLY AWESOME!!!!

Thanks for the compliment. By choice, this is the only place to watch TV in my house, so practicality was a requirement. Also, the front row sits only 11 feet away from it, so 63'' is quite large. I do admit that the substantial size of the speakers do make my Samsung look smaller than it is in reality

IMO, the original version is superior in high frequency dispersion and phase alignement.

Since I have the one with the top mounted tweeter, I'll say that one.

They do look like 47 inch beside those mammoth f2.2. I would want to say OVERKILL but hey,... There is no such thing.

In North America, the integrated tweeter version replaced the top tweeter version some years ago. The integrated tweeter version is favored because it has a smaller height that fits into more or tighter installations than the top tweeter version, controls dispersion and power response in these installations better due to the baffle behind the tweeter, and puts the two dome drivers closer together for better off-axis response.

The differences are not always enormous, but for the denser screen and equipment installations found in the West, the integrated tweeter version got Swan's and our nod.

Thanks, I really like the 6.1's and I can see them in my HT system in a couple of months, have a chance to get a C3 center channel speaker with the tweeter on top. Don't have to worry about space, it will be on a center channel stand, just thought that one would go better with the 6.1's. Thanks

Wow after reading 106 pages on the Swans I think I am going to get them sight un-seen, or er ear un-heard. Yeah that's it. Or give them the 30 day trial.
But I have a problem. I am absolutely confined to in ceiling speakers for my rear channels in a 5.1 setup.
Can anyone recommend a speaker that is well matched?
Thanks!

Get the R3, remove the driver and screw the R3 to the ceiling joist, put the driver back in.

It'll be flush to the ceiling at that point.

I've been looking at Swan Divas lately, but would like a listen before I decide. Anyone in Sacramento have some I could listen to? I'm particularly looking at the 6.3, 6.2, 6.1, 5.2, 5.1 plus matching centers and surrounds.

And I suppose I'll sift through this thread for recommended subs.

TIA

Been pretty interested in swans as a future purchase for my home theater. I have been looking into the F2.2 and the F4. Has anyone been able to here both of these speakers for a comparison. I was also looking into the F1.1, but they would be overkill for my needs BIG time.

I am thinking of buying a Diva 6.1 setup, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me the dimensions of the 2.1 and the R3--I've seen conflicting measurements on OZ and TAI. Thanks.
