I've been reading a lot about the Studio 2 series, and, although I can't find anywhere to listen to them nearby, and thinking about gradually replacing the ES's with the Studios, starting with --
Studio 230 - fronts
Studio 235c - center
Anyone familiar with both lines and have any comments? The Studios appear to be higher end speakers with better reviews -- especially when it comes to clarity.
Also ... it's not a huge room, and I'm tempted to at least audition the smaller 220 and 225c Studio speakers. I can't find many comparisons between the 220/230 and 225c/235c...I'm guessing all will come down in favor of the larger 6.5" drivers...but opinions here would be welcome too.
A new Sony STR-DN1080 will be powering them. Mix of movies and music.
The JBL Studio 580's are on sale for a great price right now on the JBL Site!
