New owner Denon AVR 3312 HELP.

New owner Denon AVR 3312 HELP.
I recently purchased this used [$64.12] it seems to work fine my problem is it did not come with a remote. I picked up a Harmony 350 and am not happy with it. Has anyone used one of the Harmony 350 remotes and do you have any programming hints or should I buy a used Denon RC-1156 remote control

The Harmony remote should work fine..
But 1st U need to get used to it..
Once setup properly with your other components, select an activity to play a movie or music.
If U want to control only the AVR punch in that device, now the keypad and basic AVR controls are available...

Just my $0.02...

That is a great price for that receiver. They originally sold for $1000. I paid $700 for mine back in 2012, and it still works great. I have the Harmony Touch that I use with my 3312. The remote is over 6 years old and works fine. I found a couple of websites that has a replacement remote that has all the same functions like the original, unlike the dozens of universal remotes sold on ebay and Amazon. Search for Denon remote RC-1156. The companies are overseas but they ship to the U.S.

I recently connected an antenna to my 3312 to listen to HD/FM radio and I have this strange problem where the left, and only left, channel constantly plays the FM radio at a very low volume level. It doesn't matter which function the receiver is set to, it will either begin playing immediately when you switch function (DVD, Radio, Cable, etc) or within 15 minutes, and usually between 5-10 minutes. Very annoying. I listen to music or movies at pretty high volumes (about -15dB to 0dB) and anytime there's silence between songs or in movies I can softly hear sports radio because that's what's set on the FM dial. The unit has been solid for years but I never had an antenna connected until now. Any idea what's going on? Thanks!

Hi all

I have a Denon AVR 3312 with two B&w CM5

It used to play amazing, loud and punchy bass, without Sub connected.

Now when I turn the volume to nearly max, there is not much punch and Im sure its not as loud as before.

I am worried the amp is getting tired. It has always been in a shelf, in some heat.

Can I test the output by connecting the speakers to a different output? Zone 2 or so?

Thanks in avance

Refer to p. 312 Owner's Manual and do a microprocessor reset and then run Audyssey Setup again to see if that resolves the issue.
