i recently bought a pair of wireless headphones to use late at night and such. the headphones can connect with a regular headphone jack, or the red/white rca jacks. the only way i can figure out to use them is to plug them into the receivers headphone jack in the front, but that takes the sound away from the speakers. i would like to be able to leave the headphone dongle plugged in, so all i have to do is switch it with the remote to change the sound to the headphones. Any ideas?

nope, when inserted into the headphone jack the external speakers are disabled.

the e300 doesn't have any RCA output jacks either.

I have a set of Sennheiser wireless headphones myself; however, the only way to connect them permanently to the AVR and still allow audio via the surround sound speakers would be via either Zone 2 pre-outs (Denon "X" series models only) or via analog outputs (X3000/X4000).
