Denon s710w Audysssey vs Manual settings

I've setting up this receiver over the last couple days and am really enjoying it however I am confused about the speaker settings. I did the Audysssey calibration and have been using those settings including multi EQ etc. If I look in the manual set up settings I can see all of the calibrated speaker settings which is good. However, on my remote there is an 'option' button which brings up a channel level select option. From there I can pull up speaker level settings as well. However, those settings do not match my calibration settings at all. I can adjust these as well but I have not. So this leads to my confusion. If I've already done the calibration do I touch these settings as well??? Please help alleviate my confusion. I assuming those with the s700 have a similar experience??

The Channel Level Adjust settings can be set independently for each source from +/-12db from what is listed in Manual Setup.

Also, review posts 3-6 in the 2015 Denon AVR Owner's thread for more helpful information.

So the channel level adjust is just a finer adjustment of the manual settings then??? Looks like I will just set the manual settings, turn on the Audyssey reference and be done with it???

Correct. Manual Setup settings are "global" for all sources, while the Channel Level Adjust are additional fine tuned adjustments for a specific source.

Excellent. Thanks for this clarification.

I'm a newbie here. I just bought the S710 for my home (upgraded from AVR 1713).

So I'm using MANUAL settings for the speaker levels, and I have the subwoofer level a bit high (for some punch) so I can feel the bang from Hulk in Avengers more than ever. But this setting is too high for music when played from Spotify or any other source.

Can I ....

1) Have different Subwoofer levels for different inputs (HDMI vs Spotify)?
and/or
2) Have different Subwoofer levels for MULTI-CH Stereo (for my music) and DOLBY/DTS (for my movies)?

Also, I'm not super happy with using the Multi-Channel Stereo for music. I have tried the Pioneer VSX-90 and it gave me an option for EXT. STEREO which sounded amazing for my music.

Thanks in advance.
