Yamaha RX-A750

The sound goes in and out on television shows, the mouth is moving but nothing is heard. This is on more than one channel and is not heard on other televisions not connected to the receiver. This is a new receiver just installed two days ago. Any gurus out there? thanx

You don't mention how the TV is connected
To the denon?

Are you using a cable/satellite box?

I've found using an optical cable from cable/satellite
Box into denon works best.

OR optical out from TV into denon

I do not know what a "denon" is, a Google search says it is a brand of electronics. This is a Yamaha and it is connected to a cable box with whatever the man brought with him. Further, it is all f'ed up. Now when you change channels using the Cox Cable Company controller, on certain channels the screen goes black, not blank, black. This is when you depress "guide" and scroll through channels. We turned both the receiver off and the TV off and sometimes just one of them to recover a picture. thanx

Sorry I got mixed up,thought you had a
Denon. Since you did not install it and are
Unfamiliar with the connections used and
The operation/set-up of your new Yamaha
It is probably best to call the person who
Installed your system and have him get it
Squared away for you.
