Denon 4200 or Yamaha RXA850 1050

Hi Folks

First post from the UK, was looking for some guidance from those more experienced than me in this field. Im looking to upgrade my old AV amp and considering the Denon 4200w, Yamaha RX A850 but at a push Yamaha RX1050. I have a Bose Acousticmass 10 IV.

There not sure if these will drive them to hard and what amp would be best suited. so your advice would be much welcomed.

Thanks

Jim

The X4200W is a higher level model than either the A850 or A1050, so not a fair comparison as the X4200W is the better choice from this group.

X4200w is amazing. I love the sq from this avr. I have always loved klipsch speakers but now i never want to leave the room. We replaced are Yamaha avr and got an x3200w for the main living.

In my honest and humble opinion.

All these receivers are completely overkill for that speaker system. An Onkyo TX-NR636 for a third the price would still be overkill.
