Yamaha AX750 - PURE DIRECT question - config.

Hi Guys, i have 2.0 configuration using Tannoy Mercury L-R Fronts and changing from Straight to Pure Direct sounds really nice, BUT, i dont know why the basses are really low.

I saw both speakers set to "large" on the Yamaha config. menu but still i would like to see if its possible to level up a the bass for this mode.

Normally im playing FLAC files from my PC.

Any ideas how can i get more bass using this PURE DIRECT mode, or is this the only type of sound i will get with my 2.0 config?

Thanks a lot!

Pure direct bypasses any bass management, by design. If direct sounds that much better for a 2-ch system, there may be something wrong with the setup.
