Denon X4200W cooling fans switched on and off

I currently have my cooling fans switching on and off from the front panel USB port on my Denon X4200W. To do so I have to keep the front panel open. I am wondering if there is a way to switch from the rear of the receiver? That way I can keep the front door closed..

TIA

Only the "flagship" X7200WA has a rear USB jack which could be used for this purpose. You may instead want to consider connecting the fans to the USB on the TV.

For more helpful information on your X4200W, refer to posts 3-6 in the 2015 Denon AVR Owner's thread linked below ....

I just purchased a set of cooling fans from this seller on ebay. He has many different options including a 12v trigger fan set up, and also temp guagesto turn on only if temp hits a certain point. He is a little more expensive than others, but backed by a 1 year warranty. The quality of the item I recieved seems very good. His feedback is steller. He was recomended to me by someone on this site
