I'm looking at purchasing the Denon X6200W and was wondering if it can accomplish the following:
An atmos setup of 7.1.4 by using my old AVR (Pioneer VSX-1017TXV) as an amp to power the fronts.
Connect from zone 2 to use in a whole home audio system (controller plus amp - looking at HTD at the moment http://www.htd.com/Products/mid-level-whole-house-audio
). Will the whole home audio zones be able to play a different source at the same time as the atmos setup from #1?
and this is more of a curious question regarding this AVR as i don't quite understand it. why does it have 11 speaker terminals if there is only 9 amps? it would seem like this would confuse the average Joe...like myself.
