The spec can be the same i don't care....But i really need them to have a quieter fan, not what they been offering in the pass because they are loud. I just brought a replacement fan for my new inuke3k because the noise is aggravating say the least. But I'm willing to wait & see how these new units handle the fan noise.

I never understood the whole back to front airflow. Every other rack mount product on the planet uses front to back airflow by default (at least in the computer world). This allows you to have a cold isle and a hot isle controlling the incoming and outgoing temperature. Back to front totally messes that up and will be sucking in all that hot air all the other amps are exhausting. I've been considering adding some duct work and switching the direction on mine. How much could a little piece of plastic cost?

Still only seeing the 1000 and 3000 available for order. I'm interested in the 6000D, if the fan noise is tolerable since it will be in my living room. I did come across this.

Im new to DIY and was going to get an inuke 6000dsp to drive a full marty... would it be smarter to wait for the 6000d mentioned in this thread? Do we think the price will be similar?

So far it looks like a cosmetic update with some claimed performance improvements, so if having the new look is important to you, it’s worth waiting. Personally, if I didn’t need an amp right now, I’d wait for the updated model based on looks alone.

Interested in an expected ship date as well. The current stock of 6000DSP is out of inventory and backordered for months (end of August) on every website I’ve seen with the 3000DSP not much better. I don’t care which version old/new I get, but the two month lead time on any iNuke is really stalling summer DIY subwoofer projects.

I have a couple miniDSP HD and the NU6000 is in stock most places, but I’d rather not use an external EQ or switch amp brands for these builds.

Speakers: PSA MTM-210T x2, MTM-210C, MT-110SR x2; Atmos-SVS Satellite x2, DIY Volt-10 x2
Subs: PSA V1801 x2, DIY: 18" RSS460HO, 15" RSS390HO x2, BOSS w/JBL CX1200 x6
MA’s: Crowson Tech x2
Processing: Denon X4200, NU6KDSP, 3KDSP
Video: Epson 3700; Screen: Silver Ticket 106" High Contrast

I had a backorder for the 6000dsp from Parts Express for about 1.5 months and they just sent me an email today stating that the iNuke 6000dsp has been discontinued. So they cancelled the backorder.

No word for the release on the NX6000D that I can find on Behringer's Facebook or other social media.

I'm not too happy that the transition has left us without a Behringer amp option for the entire summer.

That unit doesn’t have DSP, so it’s priced accordingly at $200.

I for one like contrarian views. Sometimes a good way to pick stock. If the functionality has NOT changed from the inukes, then that will be a good reason to look for used inukes for folks who look to sell theirs to buy the "new upgraded" replacements.

Does anyone have any insight into when the new 3000s will be available? I could only find "preorder" options after searching.

In a consumer application it may last, but these amplifiers are never used in pro-audio applications that require long-term reliability..

It is known.

I've got a 3000DSP that ran a pair of Lil'Wreckers at 2 ohms/channel, then one wrecker at 8 ohms bridged, and now runs an IB at 8 ohms bridged. It's about four years old, has a Noctua fan with the "most quietest" resistor on it, and I can't make the thing shut down in distress. Lord knows I've tried.

^Absoutley not.

At least they realize they had an ugly baby that needed a new look. Might be lipstick on a pig, but I've always thought that pig wasn't bad...especially since we all know what it's capable of out in the wild. My expectations are managed and this new look actually bumps it up my list quite a bit.

Only thing I would want them to change now (besides their entire marketing department behind the "published specs") would be the low frequency roll off and the ability to adjust DSP settings down to 10Hz vs 20Hz.

Would be awesome if pricing didn't change...

Yeah, and because they're never used in pro audio, the company is near bankrupt, and pro audio shops don't even carry the brand. Whatevs

So it looks like the NX6000D will be $50 more for the makeup upgrade. I assume at $450 it's still the best bang for the buck? I'm going from 2 to 4 UM18-22s and need another amp.
