ONKYO HT-S5800 5.1.2-Ch Home Theater To Denon AVR-4500H

I personally have trouble understanding audio quality, i can definitely understand picture quality and i can tell a difference, went from 2016 OLED C6 to 2018 C6 and there is indeed better PQ

For speakers though its been more difficult for me, i started with a logitech 6 piece pc system then i went to a Polk bar due to me moving around alot and when i got settled i got the Onkyo, i can definitely tell a difference between the bar and an actual system

I dont go to the movie theater often but when i do, i am not sure if i personally notice a huge difference in quality, i mean it sure is a heck of a lot louder but other than that im not sure

The main reason for my receiver upgrade was because mine currently does not do dolby vision passthrough and while the atmos is great it seems very subtle, i did buy 2 dedicated atmos speakers instead of using the built ins on the front speakers and that improved it and now i think i am ready for 7.2.4 to further enhance my experience

Many people say get the system that seems great to you, but my ONKYO seems great to me and apparently HTIB are not recommended

FYI my main uses would be xbox gaming and movies, not into music

Yea x4500h is on sale at Frys right now for half price, so get it and don't look back. If you miss the deal I believe the onkyo rz730, rz830 and vsx-lx503 are the other 3 budget friendly receivers that are capable of 7.2.4 with an external 2 channel amp.

Good luck!

@toddman36 I missed the sc-lx502, vsx-lx303 and vsx-lx503 sales at the end of December. Kicking myself now, might need to try greentoe?
