possible dumb amp purchase

So I may have screwed up here.

I got a used Crown 802 to jump into the amp world and low and behold there are only mic inputs, no rca inputs... so am I screwed?

Is RCA to MIC inferior?

Ugh!

Those are XLR inputs. (Common in "pro" audio gear.) They're balanced inputs, with better noise rejection than unbalanced (RCA) ones.

There are adapters, and adapter cables. Lots of people use them. You're not screwed.

As others have said, those are really common in both pro amps and home amps as well. Here's link which has a (rear) image from the monoprice amplifier for home use....it contains both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs

Thank you!

Sorry fellas, I usually do a much better job of educating myself before leaping into something. Thanks for the peace of mind, now I will go read the references.
