- Receiver: Marantz SR6013
- Fronts: Bowers & Wilkins 603 (x2)
- Center: Bowers & Wilkins HTM6a
- Surrounds: Bowers & Wilkins 606 (x2)
My usage will probably be 30% Music 70% Home Theater ( Movies / Games ).
My future plan is to add at least two additional ceiling speakers and a ~$1000 subwoofer for a 5.1.2 setup.
Will the SR6013 be enough to drive all this at a reasonable level for a Home Theater, and at worst I supplement with an amplifier, or should I look into getting a more powerful receiver to future-proof my setup? Recommendations?
Adding a good sub or two will take most of the load off. IMO you won't need any external amplification.
