Speaker vs Processor/Amp Upgrade?

I love to tinker with my home theater and I’m trying to decide what upgrade would yield the most benefit...

My Current Setup:
7.2.4
Speakers:
Fronts-Revel F228Be
Center-Revel C208
Side and rear surrounds- Revel S206
Atmos- Polk RC60i

Processor-Yamaha 3050 (for strictly 2 channel I use PS Audio Stellar Gain DAC)
Amps- ATI AT542NC for front 3 channels and Emotiva XPA-200 for side surrounds

My goal is I’d like to hear more from Atmos channels and in general greater detail/dynamics. Eventually I want to do all the following upgrades but I’m not sure the best order...

Option 1- Replace Polk Atmos channels with something like the RSLs
Option 2 - Replace Emotiva 2 channel amp with an 8 channel amp so AVR no longer powering any channels (thinking of Emotiva XPA series wth 4 high current channels for sides/rears and 4 100w channels for Atmos
Option 3 - Replace Yamaha with Anthem/Something with Dirac Live

Happy for any and all input. Thank you.

I don't know either of those speakers but honestly I'd start by just turning up the Atmos channels a few db and see how that works.

I don't see any AVR not being able to handle the height channels.

Also there is speaker placement...

I have, the weird thing is I feel like they are either non-existent or too much. I guess it could be the track itself but I’ve watched movies that are thought to have great Atmos tracks and they seem lost with the rest. They sound great with sound demos but then non-existent in a Marvel movie.

The two things I would consider is replacing the c208 with a voice2, or try out another flavor of room correction.

Selling in AVS Classifieds
Revel Studio2 Pair - gloss black

Most movies don't have a lot of discrete sound effects in the heights. You aren't the only one to wonder why they bothered with x.x.4 because they don't hear specific sound effects in specific speakers. Most Atmos tracks really just have Atmospheric content. If the demo material you have sounds good meaning flyovers sound like they fly over, rain hitting something above you etc then you are probably set up right and just expecting too much.
