Yamaha htr-4065 Firestick 4k

I have a new Firestick 4k that i plug into hdmi 4 on my htr-4065 receiver. I am able to control power of both my TV and the Receiver using the Firestick, however when i go to power them off, both the TV and the Receiver power off, but the receiver then powers right back on. Has anyone experience this happening with a firestick?

Try disabling HDMI CEC control in the settings.

Fire TV remote may be sending a double power toggle command to your system. Do you have any other universal remote to test and reproduce same problem?

Also does the AVR turn on back to same input or a different one?

Same input when it turns back on, i have a universal i could setup and test, just kinda like the simplicity of the firestick remote for my wife.

I could try some other receivers offered in the firestick setup, does anyone know what the IR profile is for the htr-4065?
