Receivers that might meet these requirements?

I have been out of the AV receiver market for awhile and someone asked me to help them find a receiver that can meet their needs/desires. Here is a list of what they require and what would be nice to have. If you can think of a method to meet all of these requirements or most of them, please tell me.

Requirements:
Small footprint on receiver - bookshelf size required (Ideally sized like his current Pioneer xv-dv55 that this will replace)

Wireless capable to connect to a NAS (Synology) that hosts mp3s and other audio formats.
Alexa or other smart system capability

Desires:
subwoofer out
aux inputs for old equipment to be connected on an inconsistent basis - they have a reel to reel, cassette deck and phonograph that will be hooked up occasionally.

Dreams:
Well known brand with long warranty
Multiple room capability

Either the 2018 Marantz NR1609 with 3 year warranty (currently on clearance) or the newer 2019 NR1610.

The always knowledgeable JSSmoothie has given you a couple great recs. one might call these Short ~ 1/2 the hight of a regular receiver, but full width.

for "small footprint" , less than full width, check out this integrated amp: Decco125 SKY Integrated Amplifier ,
or
https://www.us.marantz.com/us/Produc...oductId=MCR611,

or

SVS sound base

NAD 3020

https://usa.denon.com/us/product/com...m/mini/ceoln10
or
https://usa.denon.com/us/product/hifi/amplifiers/pma60

But if you are going to need more inputs you'll probalby have to go to a full width unit

There is also a UK company that makes a smaller footprint unit, but I can't recall the name of it at the moment

SSR DIYSG Volt 6v2. RSS Volt 6, Atmos(.4) Boston acoustics soundware XS
