need help guys

i just got a new avr onyoko tz920
i have a rotel 1545 amp 5 channel
sony xbr950b tv 65 inch from 2014
took my old receiver out and now can't put new one back together. where do speaker cables go?
I have direc tv and panamax power serge protector. where do i start

I assume you want to use the rotel, so RCA cables from pre-out on the back of the onkyo to the rotel and speaker cables connected from the rotel to the speakers.
Thats probably the way you had things connected before?

Rotel 1545? maybe 1585 is correct? Did you mark or label anything, pictures maybe before you ripped it out? Can you look at the owners manuals? Seems like a very nice, higher end setup to be messing around with if you don't really have a clue. Call a professional maybe?

When you run the auto setup you will quickly see if everything is connected the way its supposed to. Hopefully everything is working great!
