I am looking to upgrade from a traditional sound bar. The room is a basic living room, relatively large 16x20x12 and has plenty of low end courtesy of 2 vented 15's. Amplifier would be used about 60/40 music to movies. Movie dialogue and high volume clarity leave plenty to be desired from current Vizio SB3630.
I am hoping to mount the small amplifier on the wall behind a wall mounted TV to keep the uncluttered appearance. This amplifier would be used to power a TBD
set of bookshelf sized LCR speakers.
3 channel (Left, Center, Right)
Smallish (16in x 16in x 3in Tall)
50 Watts RMS/channel
Has Sub Out channel
Does something like this exist?
If not, how much would be lost by omitting a center channel and just running a 2 channel stereo setup? Am I better off focusing on a 2 channel plan?
Something like the Dayton DTA-PRO Part # 300-3835 seems perfect, but it is not 3 channel. Ideas?
