NAD 748 Analog Bypass mode works only for front speakers

Hi. Has anyone had any experience hooking up turntables through the NAD748? I have to set the listening mode to Analog Bypass to avoid any delays caused in the processing, but in doing so, i only get the front 2 speakers to output audio. Happy to have stereo mode for all speakers but this mode adds sound delays which doesn't work when mixing vinyl. Is it possible to have a stereo mode output whilst also using direct/analog bypass mode?
Thanks

No experience with the NAD but to get more channels playing than whats in the source signal the signal needs to go through the digital processing in modern AVRs.
For more speakers i suppose and amp or integrated with A and B outputs would work without any delay or a Y split to 2 separate amps.

Thanks for the reply. The speakers which are plugged in to the surround back work, just not the back
