Yamaha RX-A2080 vs Denon AVRX4500H

My PSA 210t/c and TV3612 have been shipped but I’m looking at upgrading my current avr Onkyo TX-575 that’s giving me issues.

I’m looking at a Yamaha RX-A2080 or the Denon AVRX4500. I’m leaning toward the Yamaha because of its reliability and it may be just a tad sharper in audio quality (I know it’s subjective) but the Denon has more features and is just as good as the Yamaha. I’ve never had a Yamaha or a Denon receiver so I have no bias between the two.

Need thoughts on these two, the differences and any experiences between the two that any poster have had.

Thanks

I think they are fairly comparable with similar features provided by both models.
I haven't had a denon since 2013 and sound was very good.
I have yamahas now and like the phone app a lot. It is the most used way to interact with the receivers. I can control either one when I am within wi-fi range, out on the deck, or next room using different zones.

@Dewiz probably sound similar without EQ, but xt32 can eq to 10hz and I think the stock yammy mic only goes to 31hz? It has manual peq which can get to 20hz, but I think its very time consuming and REW is recommended to really make it shine.

The x4500 can expand to 7.2.4 with external amp and has auro3d and imax enhanced if you care?

Thank you, I’m gonna go with the Denon 4500H.
