Monoprice Unity 100 to add 2 channels to X4400

I have a Denon x4400, which has 9 amps. I want to buy a small amp to power the top rears. Does the Monoprice Unity 100 have enough power with 50 w per channel to keep up with the other channels in the x4400 or do I have to step up to the Unity 200?

if you are using for rear heights, then it should be fine. While I do not have direct experience with the monoprice unit, I was using an Audiosource 1002D (50 wpc) at one point with my 4400 and there was no issue.

If you want a little more power at better price point (as wellas form factor) check out this unit from outdoor speaker depot: https://www.outdoorspeakerdepot.com/...er-xmp100.html

good luck

The X4400H is discussed in the 2017 Denon AVR Owner's thread --> https://www.avsforum.com/forum/90-re...sts-1-8-a.html

Review posts 1-8 for general helpful information. Post 8 specifically discusses expanding the X4400H from 9CH --> 11CH.
