Are my zones amplified?

Hi everyone,

I have a Denon AVR-X4400H. I just recently installed outdoor speakers. I was planning on powering them with my receiver. After they were installed, I went to hook up the wires to the receiver only to find that the zone inputs were not speaker wire hookups. Now I am wondering what I can do to power them.

What options do I have? I have a Memorial Day party tomorrow that I am wanting to play music outside for. So if needed, I can use the main F and L speaker hookups in the meantime to not rush it. Would it be best to get a separate receiver to power them or do I need an amplifier by itself?

Could someone provide more insight in what I should do?

Currently, 5.1 setup
AVR - Denon AVR-X4400H
Sub - SVS PB-4000
Mains - Klipsch RP-600M
Surrounds - Klipsch satellite speakers

The X4400H is discussed in the 2017 Denon AVR Owner's thread --> https://www.avsforum.com/forum/90-re...sts-1-8-a.html

I responded to your question there.

What does everyone think of these amplifiers?

https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Min...0269886&sr=8-4

https://www.amazon.com/Pyle-PCM60A-W...0269886&sr=8-3

Is there something better that I could get?

Currently, 5.1 setup

Mains - Klipsch RP-600M
Surrounds - Klipsch satellite speakers

The Pyle components are unreliable, cheap junk..

U need to shop for reliable brand amplifiers such as from SpeakerCraft, RussSound..

Just my $0.02...

I'm definitely open to anything. Do you have any specific amps you could share as reference?

Currently, 5.1 setup
AVR - Denon AVR-X4400H
Sub - SVS PB-4000
Mains - Klipsch RP-600M
Surrounds - Klipsch satellite speakers

If you only have a 5.1 setup you can definitely use speaker terminals for zone 2. You just have to go thru the setup menu and assign the amps for zone 2. As JD said earlier you should post in the 2017 Denton owners thread.
