Multi Channel Integrated Amps

I’ve been looking to buy a used receiver and I keep coming across people selling integrated amps.. I was looking at these as well since I’m not interested in the tuner part of a receiver. But almost all these integrated amps I’ve seen are only two channel, so I skipped past them since I need a center channel as well. Doing a google search, all the good integrated amps I found below about $1500 were two channel. Why is this the case? Why are there no good multi channel integrated amplifiers within a reasonable budget (below $1000)?

Ah being an audio noob, it took me some time to figure this out. Looks like integrated amplifiers don’t have any video output connections. So since they are only going to be outputting audio, and most of audio listening is done in stereo, it makes sense that these are only two channels.

My bad! I’m not able to find a way to delete this post, so I’ll leave this here to show my shame.

From what I understand the just introduced 2020 A/V receivers from Denon do not include a tuner. Might be worth checking into.

Where'd you get that impression?

The 2700, 3700, 4700, and 6700 all have FM and AM antenna connections. That strongly suggests they have tuners.

I'm not sure that any device that didn't include a tuner would be called a receiver. (Not that I ever use the tuner in my AVR. Internet radio only.)

I guess from these posts...#'s 2, 15 and 53. Nothing definitive but makes you wonder.

Why are you trying so hard not to have a tuner? It won't lower the price. Just don't hook the antenna up if you don't need the radio.

(I very rarely start a new thread.)

Makes me wonder how these things get started. The motivation to make stuff up seems (to me) to be lacking.

Yeah, sorry for the misinformation. I thought it was strange they would do that.

No, I’m not specifically looking for an integrated amplifier. They just showed up when I was looking for used receiver deals and that was what made me start this thread.

Denon has an AVC which is the AVR minus the tuner. I don't know all that much about about that model, or how many they offer, or if it is a EU only model. IIRC I saw a post somewhere and there was a review and the cost was in pounds...

Main: Sony XBR75900E, Denon AVR-x4400, Denon POA-5200 (L/R(a) Goldenear supersat 60, (b)FW Boston acoustic Bravo 2. C Ascend Acoustics Duo,

Denon in the UK has a number of AVC models. The C stands for Cinema. I looked at one or two of them: no antenna connections, so presumably no tuners.
