currently i use q accoustics 3020i but, because of room. i can only put my side speaker about 120 cm above my ear. and i can't directly pointing speaker to my ear. so is it really bad if i not put speaker in same ear level. i am really worried if i put really high cause i usually use my home theater for play video games. especially fps game.
i use for my atmos 5.1.2 ch. my front and center is perfect in ear level, and i use 2 ceiling speaker. the problem is my side surround speaker. i can only put above 120cm (4-5ft) ear level
How high is the ceiling? The general rule is that the base level speakers are not more than 1/2 the Atmos speaker height. Of course, rules are made to be broken, and if you have no other choice, then you just live with the compromise and move on. Just out of curiosity, why are they so high? A pic of the problem area may be helpful in finding other solutions ...
Another option is to change the layout of the room to accommodate the proper level of both fronts and surrounds, if possible...
