Do "Cables Matter!!" audiophiles sit for audiograms?..

and if they do, do they demand the audiologist present a receipt for the headphones and audiometer power cord to prove they're of the highest quality? Do they walk if they see the power cord run to the audiometer without cable elevators?

on a high frequency monitor lets say 4k 120hz or faster, yes the cable matters...some cables just arent fast enough.

Are you trying to say that 4k is a TV with a refresh rate of 120 Hz?
If so, then that would be a processor speed thing not a power cable issue.

Well, I'd say it matters to the ones profiting from them.

no computer monitors...but could apply to to tv's...hdmi cant get past 120hz I think...or 60hz....need displayport cables. 1.2 displayport can max at 120hz i think...1.4dispayport can do 175hz and up....if you buy a 240hz monitor you need a cable that can pass that tech

check the specs on this cable vs one you use and gear you have....https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

if dont use right cables for your new gear...just pissing away money...as backwards compatability can ruin performance

I'm not asking about HDMI cables. I'm wondering how audiophiles deal with getting their hearing checked. How do they ensure the cables have been burned in properly? Do some audiologists allow you to bring your own cables?

Sure was thinking about power cables for a 4k monitor, not the digi cable.
