Home theater newbie needs advice

Hey there,

I am definitely a newbie so looking to get lit up from my stupidity. I have inherited the beginnings of a nice set up, but I need some help with suggestions on making it complete for a home theater. Note, despite some nice speakers and amps, I am on more of a budget as the current components were gifts, not representative of my purchase ability. Plus I am having to buy furniture, carpet, etc.

Currently I have:
Front loudspeakers: JBL Synthesis Array 1400s
Center Channel: JBL Synthesis Array 880
Sub: JBL Synthesis Array 1500
Surround & Rear: JBL Synthesis s2A (three set = 6)
Amps: (three) JBL Synthesis S800 + (one) JBL Synthesis S7150
Power: Panamax M5300-EX

I also have the JBL Synthesis SDP-2 processor and an Integra DTR-4.6 receiver.

I am thinking of upgrading the processor; I am fine with buying a quality used processor or new - would like to stay in the $1,000-2,000 range.

Suggestions on a processor? What other suggestions does the forum have?

Thanks for helping this newbie!

Holy cow, you've started at the top. The only thing you need is the perfect room to experience it in. Set it up using the Dolby guidelines. Is the processor out of date codec wise? I couldn't find info on it.

Music, more music.
