Question Running 11.1 by Yamaha 3020 is Atmos or DTS-X Worth the Upgrade ?

Hello All,

I have been considering upgrading my Yamaha 3020 AVR. However with that said will I actually be able to feel the investment is worth the cost. And When I say that my meaning is will ATMOS or DTS-X sound that much better considering what I have already? I've been looking at the Denon 6500 or 4500.
I'm currently running 11.1 Surround with Front and Rear Presence Speakers.. Assuming I do upgrade I will not be installing speakers in the ceiling so my layout will not change.. I've attached a pic of my room layout.

Appreciate any and all opinions and thoughts.

Currently your height/presence speakers are fed by upmixing 5.1 or 7.1 tracks. With Atmos/DTS:X decoding, those same speakers will be fed with real height information mixed into the soundtrack (sounds intended to come from above you).
