Denon AL24 Processing Plus

Hello everyone. I am trying to test some speakers with a Denon AL24 Receiver by connecting the speakers to it but I cannot get any sound out of the speakers. This is a straight forward setup.

Its an old receiver but it should be able to send a radio station sound through the speakers. If you can help I would appreciate it.

Thanks

AL24 is a feature, not a model number, so nobody reading this knows what you own. We also don't know what speakers you have connected which may help.

Denon receiver model numbers often start with "AVR", "DR", or "AVX", and maybe some others. It will be written on the front faceplate.

If your primary source is the tuner (“radio station”), make sure you have an appropriate antenna connected to the receiver.

"AL24 Processing Plus: Denon has further developed its propriety AL24 Processing to support the 192 kHz sampling frequency of DVD-Audio. AL24 Processing Plus thoroughly suppresses quantization noise associated with D/A conversion of LPCM signals to reproduce the low-level signals with optimum clarity that will bring out all the nuances of the music. AL24 Processing Plus is applied to not only the front left and right channels, but also the surround left and right, center and subwoofer channels."

AL24 is found on many such as AVR-3808CI, AVR-3805, AVR-2807, AVR-3806, AVR-4306, AVR-2805, AVR-3310CI, AVR-4308CI, AVR2809CI, AVR985, AVR-5805, AVR-X4100W, AVC-A1D, AVR-4311, AVR-X6200W, ACR-4806, AV-989, AVR-X6300H, AVR-X2400H, AVR-X6200H, AVR-990, AVR-988, AVR-A100, AVR-991 . . .

My main interest in finding the exact model number was to find out if it has the feature "speakers B". Accidentally selecting that is a common reason for the complaint "There's no sound".

Just helping to clarify the title of the thread.

Yup. Probably a simple solution to the question at hand. Just need a little help from the OP.
