This site was recommended for a problem I have. I hope you can help.
A group I am working for will have a large summer conference next month in a convention center.
The hall we are using is approx. 15 - 20,000 sqft. with 30'+ high ceilings.
It is rectangular in shape with the main stage area being on one end or the short end of the rectangle.
The only music involved is an organ. The seminar is 95% talking heads.
We are expecting a crowd of 1000.
My problem is configuring the speaker set-up without running into echo or delay problems. Which to me seems almost impossible with such cavernous hall. Plus I have to keep costs down, so rigging from the ceilings and setting up elaborate sound system is out of the question.
I have 8 JBL Eon15 powered speakers in my inventory as well as 4 JBL non-powered speakers.
