Yeah, I've done that. But I'd like the icon to be the AVS icon. I know on iPhones, a site can give a 'web app' that will add it to the homescreen with an icon, and will seem like a native app, but is really just the site opening in the browser. I guess for a no cost solution, AVS could publish an android 'app' that all it does it put an icon on that just opens the mobile site.

As mentioned, no app needed. You can put a bookmark URL on the desktop that will be an icon like an app that will just open the AVS URL in your browser when pressed. All I did was opened the browser, went to avsforum.com and then clicked MENU and used ADD. It then opened and asked Add Bookmark or Home Screen and I said HOME Screen. Poof, it was their.

Yeah, I've done that, but on my particular flavor of android (HTC Sense), I just get a generic bookmark icon, it doesn't pull in the favicon. I'm sure many people go to the app store to look for just about everything, and a simple app for a url would be very easy to create.

I've been checking on and off for the last couple years for Tapatalk integration. Today to my surprise it finally came up. Thank you so much for adding AVS to the Tapatalk platform. I decided to check because I noticed the new mobile site. Great work on that too.

Two updates I'd like to see:
1. A dark mobile theme
2. Via the desktop, the ability to type in a page number to jump to that page (maybe there is a way and I've not found it).

I found it very easy to create a custom bookmark icon.

Thanks to AVS, the site looks great!

The mobile version has been out for a long time. Just scroll to the bottom and toggle to mobile.:)

Just click on the ellipsis.

As I said, the version of Android on my phone does not allow you to do that, hence the need for a play store 'app' that's just a simple link to the mobile site.

Thanks, I didn't know you could do that.

Pardon the late bump, but is the mobile version still buggy or something? Because on my iPhone, I get tons of code full of symbols and words (<> and such) that makes navigation on mobile quite difficult.

The mobile or enhanced mobile seems to be completely broken on my Windows Phone 8.1 phone. Luckily I was able to link it to my tapatalk account and just use that app.

For the enhanced mobile view, how do you hide/dismiss the sticky threads on the forum threads view? They take up the entire screen for me, and no amount of obvious tapping or swiping anywhere gets rid of them.

You should see a little yellow X on the right-hand side of the screen a little below the "more" dots. Tapping that will slide the stickies off to the right.

Walking the fine line between jaw-dropping and a plain ol' yawn.

Not seeing it? Perhaps it's cut off

Tried on both an LG G3 and Blu R1 HD

That looks half-swiped in. If you can drag the sticky note all the way to the left, you should see the X. If you can't move it, it's because the adware on your phone's browser is causing it to hang.

I can only scroll up and down, so it doesn't appear to be hung? Can't drag it left or right, only move it up or down (or rather, scroll what's displayed in the sticky note up and down). Same with the thread list behind it, I can scroll that sliver on the left up and down. I think on some slow connections I did see the sticky note come in from the right, but could never move it myself. Same exact experience on both phones, on mobile or wifi, etc.
