A 65" is only a couple pounds/kgs heavier than my 55"., and that's about 47lbs.
I have studs in the drywall where my 55" Samsung TV is mounted, but the stud nearest is about 6" from being centered. I also wanted to be able to move the TV far from the wall because my floorstanding speakers are over 30" from the wall to the front baffle. Therefore I wanted something that doesn't look like an industrial rack as you see behind the TV walking by. I settled on a relatively inexpensive (under $100) mount from VideoSecu.com, bought through another on-line discounter. This mount looks clean, and I get perfect centering.
The photos from behind are at installation in Dec 2015, the other is from a week ago. The wires are cleaned up pretty good now.
