Wife OK'd my mid-life crisis project and this needs to work from the start or I'll be hanging my head for a year. I'm waiting on my new Panasonic plasma and have about 3 weeks to get the infrastructure in place. I've got everything worked out except IR and am hoping I can get opinions. Here's my proposed setup:

IR Target Keystone: http://www.newtechindustries.com/keystone-type-insert-ir-target-ir-distribution/
=>
CAT6 run
=>
Female 3.5mm Keystone: http://www.newtechindustries.com/keystone-type-insert-ir-socket-stereo/
=>
Dual Band IR Repeater: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=109&cp_id=10110&cs_id=1011009&p_id=9895&seq=1&format=2#description
=>
HTPC and Denon 2313

Questions:
1) Can I use a M/M 3.5mm stereo plug to connect the Female keystone directly to the repeater?
2) Similarly, can I just plug a 3.5mm plug directly from an emitter port to the Denon's remote in port?
3) The IR target will be located directly below/above the Plasma. Do I need to worry about interference?
4) In my last house, I was using a Monoprice HDMI over Cat with IR extender. It sent a single-band frequency to my HTPC. Will the above dual-band repeater work fine?

Thanks a lot.
