Does anyone have EFC codes for either of these remotes and LG47LN5700, [user manuals]? These comcast codes mostly work but Flashback doesn't work, tried both back codes.

Also EFC codes for an old Technics SA-DX930. All that works currently is power and volume, which is okay but would like to control surround and function at the least.

Finally some questions:
1. Also where are these codes found?
2. Is it JP1 cable plus RemoteMaster?
3. I found a schematic for a diy serial JP1 cable which I could do today, but no computer with a serial port. Is there a schematic for a diy usb?

1. JP1 database, remote central. LG documents (sometimes), harmony database, trial and error.
2. Yes
3. Building a JP1.3 serial cable from scratch is hard, and building a USB one is even harder. Just get one of these from ebay ($7.65 shipped).

Looks like the codes in that post may have run together. Just use the first 5 digits. Flashback is probably Q.View which is 00247.

What setup code are you currently using for the Technics?

All JP1 files are below. You need to download and install Remote Master and associated files (RDFs, Maps and Images) from that same site to be able to read the files. You usually don't find an exact model match, but something of the same make and vintage usually works fine.

For your Technics, you can try here: http://hifi-remote.com/jp1/lookup/, search by setup code for Audio 1308 (the leading 3 means Audio), then click EFCs for an EFC list. Or try the codes below which came from a similar model (I'm guessing):
