Harmony Ultimate Suddenly not Controlling TV

I have a Harmony Ultimate Remote, and it worked to control my TV and Verizon FIOS Set-top flawlessly for over a year. The TV is a Sony A9F. About two weeks ago, it stopped controlling the TV. When I use the TV remote to turn on the TV, the Harmony continues to control the Verizon Set-top. So only the TV has stopped responding. I re-programmed the remote, to no avail. Anyone had a similar issue with a Sony TV?

How was the Harmony Ultimate setup to control the Sony TV?
1. IR from Hub and mini-blasters (default)
Note: Some Sony TVs have 1/8” stereo IR input for direct connection to the Hub, but won’t work if the plug is fully inserted. Don’t get me going on this one!
2. IR from remote
3. Using Sony IP driver (new feature).

Solutions for above setups:
1. Check Hub or mini-blaster placement with clear line of sight to Sony TV IR sensor. Check mini-blaster is plugged into correct port on the hub.
2. IR from the remote needs clear line of sight to IR sensor on bottom of TV. Anything blocking?
3. If you updated the remote programming it might have scanned your network and replaced your a Sony IR driver for network IP control. Go into setup and check your device. Old IR driver can be installed with IOS app and rerun device setup.

Hope this helps

Thanks!

My TV really is only setup for WiFi control, so I just had to set it up again. I was just hoping to avoid that.

Glad you fixed it. The WiFi IP control still needs a bit of work, for example no way to hold down select (long press) for managing apps.
