Help!!!! I need an original remote for a JVC RS20/HD750 projector

Hi everyone I allow myself to write this post with the hope of a help. I need to find an original remote RM-MH2GB for a RS20/HD750 projector that I have just bought. The only one I have seen is from JVC store priced $104. Or at Dan’s electronics for $90 but much longer time for delivery. Do you know some other options to suggest? I paid $400 the projector and I wouldn’t like to spend $100 just for the remote. Thank you!

I don't.. BUT do you have a cellphone/tablet with an IR blaster in it? Or a Harmony universal remote?

I've used my Harmony and an old Note 7 (has IR Blaster) to get stuff working.

Thank you for your reply. There are many replacement options at few dollars but I would like to find an original one at reasonable price. On JVC store it’s priced $104. If I could find it for less it would be very helpful

There are at least 100 universal remote models I know of that will fully control your projector.

- Your model is in the Harmony database, so any Harmony will control it
- It's in the JP1 database, so any JP1 remote will control it (includes One-for-all, Insignia and most cable and satellite OEM remotes)
- Pronto hex and JP1 codes can be calculated from the protocol document linked below. So any remote that takes pronto hex can control every possible function of your projector (hundreds more universal remote models).

Here's the JP1 upgrade:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dl...e&file_id=5258
(must log in to download then use Remote Master to view/load)

If you encounter any wrong or missing commands, you can calculate the correct JP1 or pronto hex codes from this document (see page 23 for the procedure):
http://support.jvc.com/consumer/supp...ntrolGuide.pdf

List of JP1 remotes:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/wiki/index.php/RemoteChart

As you can see from the attached manual, the following projector models all use exactly the same codes. So any non-universal remote for any of those models should give you much of the functionality you need.

DLA-RS1 ● DLA-RS2
DLA-HD350 ● DLA-HD750
DLA-HD550 ● DLA-HD950 ● DLA-HD990
DLA-X3 ● DLA-X7 ● DLA-X9
DLA-X30 ● DLA-X70R ● DLA-X90R
DLA-RS10 ● DLA-RS20
DLA-RS15 ● DLA-RS25 ● DLA-RS35
DLA-RS40 ● DLA-RS50 ● DLA-RS60
DLA-RS45 ● DLA-RS55 ● DLA-RS65

How do you control your other devices? Love the Harmony 650. Use it in conjunction with the Harmony hub on all my gear. With the Hub app on an Android tablet, it is great. 10 inch touchscreen universal remote for everything.
