Wanted economical 5 device w/ macros an learning

My $20. RCA finally bite the dust it’s not controlling any device in my sys.what usually wears out? Are these remotes rebuildable.

I concidering this but it’s missing sub +- volume button the RCA had.also missing 2nd power button for all off. What type batteries are required? will it work w/ HP ir blaster

Harmony https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-915-...5G6JK9RFRQX7MZ

is the 665 remote older than the 700?

Edit: the ray o vac NiHm batteries took there time but infact powered my harmony 700 it’s been unused for 7 years. is it safe to recharge the ray o vac w/ the harmonys usb to wall 120AC V

dam I thought harmony went out of business or significantly reduced remote models sold.

I personally like Logitech excellent quality electronics and am amazed this remote is still supported my account is still active very good Logitech keep up the support.

Don’t get me wrong the 700 is a good not excellent remote because of extreme quick battery drain this main reason I prefer the RCA type or now GE.

edit2:I like redundancy w/ remotes just like backup while available.

edit3:my yamaha AVR has 2 power buttons first on second off w/ the RCA it had live/on main device for off. so w/ the GE it only has the one power for AVR.
Thanks for advices
