Xbox One X/Denon AVR-X2400H Issue

Hi. I'm hoping someone can help with a really annoying issue I'm having with a new Xbox One X connected to a Denon AVR-X2400H. The console is connected to the AUX 2 HDMI input on the AVR, which is configured to output an "Enhanced" 4K signal format to the Samsung UE49MU7000 TV (connected via an HDMI ARC socket with HDMI UHD Color set to on). The Xbox is also configured to output Dolby Atmos sound.

The annoying issue is that I can't seem to get the picture from the console to display on the TV without a lot of messing around with the various settings on the AVR, e.g. changing the sound format from one value to another (i.e. away from Atmos and then back again) or the input source (i.e. away from AUX 2 and then back again). Sometimes it seems to take ages to get the sound and picture behaving correctly, so I can only assume I am missing something with the setup.

I'm using HDMI cables which came with the Xbox and with a Nintendo Switch, so find it hard to believe they can be the issue.

If anyone has any thoughts on what is wrong then I would be very grateful for your help.
