4K HDR issues with PS4 Pro

Hey everyone, I am completely racking my brain here. I have a latest gen PS4 Pro being ran on a 55" samsung KU6300 TV. My display outputs are saying that I'm at the highest resolution possible, 60Hx, 2160, yUV420. But heres my problem. It always says HDR is not compatible with my device which makes absolutely zero sense. I feel like I have tried everything. Cables are. Rand new, hi speed, 4k HDMI cables, I've gone through what i believe every single setting on the TV that i can think of, and contacted Samsung who said to just put it on game mode *which, surprise surprise, fixed nothing except give me an unsatisfactory picture and still no HDR.) I know it's not the games itself as I'm running Borderlands 3, God of War, Red Dead 2, and other ps4 pro enhanced games. Any help is immensely appreciated.

Thanks

Some TVs only have HDR support in 1 specific HDMI input. Make sure you're using that one...and make sure you enable the UHD Color or Deep Color setting (whatever Samsung calls it).

On the PS4 Pro, try the auto settings first.

Samsungs is in fact UHD color and it has to be switched on per input.
His particular model may only have one full bandwidth HDMI, but should still be able to do HDR.
