TV size and type for gaming

Is a 75" TV too big for gaming? Looking to buy soon 1500-2000 budget... What brand and type is favorite among gamers? QLED OLED?

All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.

It's all relative to your viewing distance from your display. If you're considering a 75" set the recommended viewing distance is between 7.5ft - 11.8ft from the TV.

I forgot to answer your question about QLED vs OLED. In order to stay around 75" and be within your budget, OLED isn't an option. I would look at the 75" Samsung Q60R QLED. It's going for ~$1500 now and you can use the rest of your money to look into better audio.

Thanks. Interesting that one's usually 3k! I might do the 65" LG OLED if it's still around 2k but I'll keep the Samsung in mind. As far as audio I'm pretty happy with my KEF R3's! THe Rythmik subs are awesome but I won't be able to crank them for movies anytime soon due to being in apartments. I run them very low for music and movies.

Recommend TCL 6 series, bright and rich HDR effect. Highly cost effective .

I use a 65" LG C8 and love it. Going to get it pro calibrated in the future as well. I was using a 65" Vizio P Series Quantum which was great but had some banding issue that made it become my living room TV. 65" has been the sweet spot for me.

I ended up getting an LG C9 65" and love the picture.... Still haven't gotten a game console. Which would you recommend to get great graphics and colors with the C9?

Honestly I would look at which exclusives the consoles have that you would enjoy more. The One X IIRC performs better than the PS4Pro. But imo PS4 has the better exclusives. If you dont care about the exclusives and just want a cleaner look Id go with the X. I have pretty much every damn system available though haha.
