Today LG has launched its 2018 premium TVs by announcing pricing and availability for a variety of models previewed at CES 2018. These new TVs encompass the 2018 OLED and Super UHD TV lines, and all models incorporate AI ThinQ technology.
First up, the eagerly anticipated 2018 OLED lineup with AI ThinQ. There are nine new models total, available in sizes ranging from 55″ to 77″ (diagonal). These include the Picture-on-Wall 77W8 and 65W8, the Picture-on-Glass 65E8 and 55E8, and the Cinema Screen design 77C8, 65C8 and 55C8; all of these premium models use LG’s Alpha 9 processor.
LG also plans 65B8 and 55B8 models featuring the Cinema Screen design but without the Alpha 9 processor.

In addition to OLED, LG has launched its Super UHD TVs with seven models featuring IPS screens and AI ThinQ powered by an Alpha 7 processor. New for 2018 is the use of FALD (full array local dimming) in the top two series, the SK9000 and SK9500 while the SK8000 series offers four screen sizes ranging from 49″ to 75″. All Super UHD TVs feature Nano Cell technology for vivid color reproduction, even with HDR content.

AI ThinQ is LG’s artificial intelligence technology that has been added to all of its 2018 OLED and Super UHD TVs. It works in conjunction with LG’s webOS for an enhanced smart TV experience. For example, you can use natural language to control TV functions, settings, content playback, and even network-connected smart home devices.
LG AI ThinQ can respond to natural language commands.
