Skyworth launched two new premium TV series – the Q91, its first 8K TV, and the W81, the company’s wallpaper-thin OLED TV – at CES 2020.
The brand new 8K Q91 series is supported by 120fps 8K for a smoother picture and supports 8K hardware decoding for up to 60fps, making 8K picture quality even smoother. The Q91 series uses an 8K IPS LED hard screen to offer wider viewing angles and faster response, and maintains a consistent and clear image from any angle.
The Q91 uses 8K AI Image Processing Engine to improve the contrast, color and clarity of the picture, while boosting low resolution video content closer to 8K resolution. The bezel-less 75” screen enables unrestricted viewing, and the TV features Dolby Vision for extra-great looking content. The Q91 series supports Dolby Atmos.
The 75” Q91 Series will be $5,999.
W81 and W81 Pro
The W81 and W81 Pro offers a minimalistic feel with both the microphone array and AI camera embedded on a thin illuminated line. At 0.1” at its slimmest, the W81’s OLED screen seamlessly attaches to the wall. Both the W81 and W81 Pro uses Dolby Vision, an ultra-wide viewing angle, blue-light filtering, and Dolby Atmos audio. A 21” secondary display on the W81 Pro shows pertinent information to your day such as time and weather.
The 65″ W81 and 65″ W81 Pro will retail for $3,599 and $4,599 respectively. Pricing and availability for the 77″ W81 Pro will be announced at a later date.
