Hi! **************AVCHD Version Added***********************

I've re-authored portions of the AVSHD disc for use with Calman 5 (With permission of alluringreality.) It's set up to make working with Calman 5 much easier and includes re-authored Saturation Sweeps--along with other patterns-- that are in the correct order for Calman 5. Nothing new, just in a format that's much easier to use with Calman 5. Right now all patterns are sourced from AVSHD v2d, and the authors deserve all of the credit.

To use it, select "Generic Calibration DVD" as the source, and "AVS 709 Sweeps" under Saturation Sweeps in settings.

It's authored for a Bluray disc, the AVCHD version can be burned to DVD. (But must be played on a Bluray player.) Both extract to an ISO just a hair over 1 GB. Extract to ISO, burn to BD-R. (Or mount as a virtual drive on an HTPC.) Burn the AVCHD version to a DVD. Most players should play the DVD version, some Panasonics won't.

Added: The ZIP file is 268 MB, The 7z file is 44MB.

7z file downloads working.

I've tried burning the AVCHD version to disc. Did several copies, none of my players can read it. I can browse the files without issue, it just doesn't seem to want to play as a Bluray.

What brand Bluray players?

Panasonic, PS3, VLC on Windows, and I loaded the ISO in my Mede8er.

It plays on the mede8er, but only the 100% white, the red, and the green patterns. If I try to play the individual m2ts files with just VLC, the brightness/contrast pattern works, along with the patterns I mentioned. The others won't play.

Yeah, I knew the Panasonics had problems with AVCHD, I didn't know about the others. The problem is the disc doesn't strictly follow AVCHD rules. The culprit? The pop up menus that make it so easy to navigate the disc. Most Bluray players don't care, you're just lucky enough to have a bunch that do... If you can burn the Bluray version on a buddy's Bluray burner you won't have any problems. I'll author another AVCHD disc without the pop ups, that'll fix the problems you're having playing an AVCHD disc on those players. I'm not sure when I can get to that, it may be soon, and it may be after the holidays. I'll post an update as soon as I get it uploaded. It just won't be quite as quick and easy to get around the patterns.

I would appreciate if you could do this.

No worries, I appreciate the effort you've put into this.

Not yet, but I can add all of the "Clipping" patterns, but I'm missing several of the patterns for "Clipping with peak white". Will the "Clipping" patterns help? Sometime in the next month or two I'll be building my own patterns, then I can add them all. Right now I'm sourcing from the AVSHD disc, and there's no 107 or 108 pattern on that disc. If the "Clipping" patterns will help you, I can add those fairly quickly, probably next week.
