Got one completed, but as you can see, it is feeling lonely and unsymmetrical...

"Why build just one, when you can have two, for twice the price?"

"One cannot just simply... build ONE of any type of subwoofer."

Picking up the wood for the second one tomorrow...

All sides cut, hole is rough cut and glue is now drying on 5 of the 8 panels.

I don't know.... with 2 you're only half way to the diminishing return ratio. Why not 3 more.
I am contemplating upgrading to quad Ultra's.

I would have to buy a FP14k clone or another iTech for that, as well.

Welcome to the quad club!

Going from 1 to 4 is probably going to be a real eye opener!!!

I'm hoping that these give me enough extra SPL to finally tap out.

Right now I have 9 subs, I'm going to be getting rid of 2 of them (my 15's) and adding these 3 18's, bringing me to 10: 4 LMS-18s, 2 21's and 4 Dayton PA-18's

This will allow me to unleash all 35kW's from my amps, instead of just 33kW's in movie-mode and 33kW's in music-mode instead of 31kW's; as I am now.

What amp are you going to use to power the LMS 5400?

Well I see the; I'm not spending any more money due to my lawsuit was short lived.
I didn't want to be the first to bring that up LMAO

Was all, I'm done, not even finishing the av closet or getting seating to.... Pre amp and 3 drivers anyone would love to be able to afford.

Yeah I'm pretty much brushing the lawsuit off, I'll jump off that bridge when it arrives. (Can't let that stop my system addiction.) LOL. Perhaps not the smartest move but that's never stopped me before. hehe

I have an iTech 8000 and a Lab clone, that's what I use to power the six high-excursion subs; my two EP4000's power the PA-18's.

"Ideally" I should pick up another two clones and sell my rear channel amp, replacing it with the clone I have, but that will have to wait...

I can't wait to see the expression on the FedEx dudes face when he gets here.

The magnets are in a small box, like 11x11x9", but each weighs like 75lbs. It totally messes with your brain. LOL

Got a tracking number, hasn't activated yet but... if they fly it, it could be here by Wednesday (theorically), and if they don't, it might take until Friday or even next next Wednesday.

2 was nothing short of awesome, but going to 4 opened the door to that "next level"

What glue are you using?

Good question, I don't even remember the name of it, it is like 1 gallon of generic hardwood glue that I purchased ages ago.

Status Update: Here's a picture of all 10 subs. It's getting closer. 18 out of 24 panels are done. Just about time for sanding and final cuts.
