I have the enviable task of starting the design process of Man-Cave 2.0. For 12+ years I have dialed in - tweaked and calibrated a number of NEC XG series projectors in Man-Cave 1.0. I have been lucky enough to be contracted to calibrate CRT systems in some of the finest theaters you could...

I am selling my JVC RS50. Low hours on the bulb, and on the unit. Always used in a dedicated HT no pets, no smoke. The convergence is dead on. I have the original box, remote. I want to get a projector with zoom memory since I am moving to 2.35. I would consider a trade to a JVC with zoom...
  3. Front Projector
For sale is my beloved and pampered JVC projector. It was my first higher end projector. As much as I love this projector the upgrade bug bit me, and I ended up buying the current generation JVC top end. This projector comes in its original box, and will have all the original paperwork, remote...

  10. Digital Hi-End Projectors - $3,000+ USD MSRP
Have been considering yet setting on the fence about buying one of the RS 45's in B stock. But have a couple of concerns and questions. 1. In the reviews on this projector the claim was for world class black levels, but they weren't actually black rather a blue black and seemingly throwing...
  11. Digital Hi-End Projectors - $3,000+ USD MSRP
I have had my RS1 for about 4 years and I have a chance to get a really good deal on an RS50 with about 50 hours on it. I spend about 50% of my time watching NFL football and basketball and about 50% watching movies (action, drama, etc). I have a dedicated home theater with great light control...
  12. Digital Hi-End Projectors - $3,000+ USD MSRP
Just built a media room in my basement and am now at the point where I have to make a decision on my projector. The room is 16' wide x 28' deep with just over 8' ceilings and will have a 120" screen. I anticipate using it for 50% movies and 50% sports/tv. The room is also 100% light controlled...

  15. Digital Hi-End Projectors - $3,000+ USD MSRP
I have been seeing some good prices on used RS-50's. I have a VideoEQ so the CMS would not be an issue. Would the used RS-50 be a good deal at the same price or less? I would be projecting onto a 110" Carada BW screen. My room is totally light controlled also, not a bat cave but dark none-the-less.
